Herold Taxi has been operating in and around St. Gallen since 1916, with taxis, minibuses, wheelchair-accessible buses and minivans. Anyone wishing to book a journey now has three options: by telephone, via the website or via WhatsApp. Renuo developed the online booking system and the WhatsApp channel.

Price calculator with logic
The booking planner calculates fares based on the pick-up point, destination, any stop-offs, date, time, number of passengers and preferred vehicle. It also determines whether it would be cheaper for the taxi to wait or to send a new vehicle. The return journey can be booked at the same time, and the booking is sent directly to the internal booking management system.
AI Agents in Action
Our AI agent handles bookings and voucher orders directly via WhatsApp and answers general enquiries. Customers simply type in their enquiry an the agent takes care of the rest. Here too, the completed bookings are sent directly to our internal booking management system.
Software beyond code
What began in 2020 as a traineeship project has now developed into a fully-fledged client relationship. Whether via web form or WhatsApp, both processes run fully automatically without any manual intervention. A taxi company that has been operating since 1916 needs a comprehensive solution.
