swissICT
The swissICT-Salärstudie is the go-to reference for many HR managers and recruiters in Switzerland when it comes to salary negotiations. It collects around 40’000 salary figures annually and makes the data available in reports and interactive dashboards. At the end of 2024, the previous service provider ceased operations without prior notice. Renuo took over the application and its day-to-day operations – in true “Scout night exercise” style.

We can get things done
We familiarised ourselves with the existing codebase without much documentation and took over its operation. We made the application more robust using the 12-Factor methodology, ensuring that there will be no need for a second emergency drill. At the same time, we completely redesigned the salary survey. For swissICT and its members, the survey continued without interruption.
A future-proof foundation
We have migrated the application to Deploio, a Swiss PaaS solution. This ensures that the salary data of IT specialists remains in Switzerland, with no contact with foreign authorities and with full data sovereignty.
