Smalltalk

Everything is an Object, no OS needed

Smalltalk is a 50 years old object oriented programming language, you could even say: "The" object oriented programming language. Everything is an object and alive – talking to each other with messages. Some people say it's the most productive programming language around.
We played around with it and we like it. But we're yet to be convinced that Smalltalk is not an island. Maybe you've got an existing Smalltalk application we could look into? We're Ruby programmers, so we think we've got the right spirit for that: objects are beautiful and alive.
